How to Join a Google Meet Meeting

Please Allow 5 minutes to join a meeting for any unforeseen issues

(Preferred Step Not Mandatory): Plug in USB Headset

Step 1: Click the Picture Icon (bottom right next to the time). 

 


Step 2: Next to the volume slider click the Output Icon.

 


Step 3: Check Output & Input devices and adjust if necessary.


Step 4: Open Google Chrome from the chromebook (outside of citrix). 

Step 5: Navigate to your Calendar

Step 6: Right click the meeting and hit Join Meeting.

 


Step 7: Click Allow to grant access to your Camera & Microphone

 

Step 8: Click the Join button.



If You Have Camera, Audio or Microphone Issues

Click 3 dots on the right of the google meeting and select Settings

 


Check to make sure Camera, Microphone & Speaker has the correct settings.


Test the Microphone by speaking and watching the 3 dots next to the mic move

Test the Speaker by clicking the test button and making sure the sound comes through
