What is Screencastify and Where do I get it?
Screencastify is a Google extension for Screen Recording. It can record up to 5 minutes of the screen you selected. Once you finish your video, you can save the URL or find the video within your Google Drive,

How To Set It Up
1. Download the Extension
2. Click on the extension found in the top right hand corner of your chrome browser
3. Once clicked it will take you to a google sign in page. Screencastify works with your google credentials, so go ahead and sign in as it asks.
4. Make sure Camera and Microphone are selected and hit next. You can also have the Drawing and annotation tools selected.If it asks for additional permissions, allow them!
5. You are now ready to start recording!
How to Record
1. To start recording, click on the extension in the top right hand corner.
2. If your happy with the settings, select record. If you have more than 1 monitor, it will ask which one you would like to record. Once you select which screen, hit share.
3. When it starts recording, you will see a toolbar on the corner of your screen. This can pause/stop the recording. Your audio will also be captured if you would like to talk during the video.
4. To finish up the recording, hit the pause button and then the end recording button. The button to end the recording is shown in the next picture.
5. Once the video ends, a new screen will appear and the video will automatically save to your google drive. You also have the ability to copy a sharable link, or download it if you would like to share the video that way.
6. Congratulations, you have now made a screen recording video.
